Greetings everyone,

I hope everybody is safe and healthy. These are difficult times we are facing. Please follow the advice of the noted philosopher Samuel L Jackson and Stay the F*ck At Home! Be safe, everybody!

I've attempted to install the Oranda Cursor set which was released many, many years ago with only bad luck. Will it be updated to have compatibility with the upcoming release of the new Cursor program?

On March 25th, I had to let my buddy, Diesel Dawg. rest. The cancerous growth on his privates had burst and I couldn't get the bleeding to stop. He was scared too. Just three weeks earlier the vet had said Diesel wasn't suffering so I brought him home that day. When the bleeding started and it was evident we couldn't stop it, I had no choice but to not let Deez suffer and bleed to death so it was decided to let him rest. You ever see a grown man of 57 cry? I admit it. I did! Like a baby I did and I'm not ashamed of it. I treasured every single day of those last three weeks I had with him. Deez was 13 years old when he passed but he was just a big puppy. His mom is a border collie and his dad was a three legged golden retriever. I never knew the dad but i still have the mom. Madison, the mom, is my ex-wife's dog but I've had her the last 7 or 8 years. Anyway, Diesel was a big dog but he loved to lie in my lap when I'd sit in my big chair. He'd put his head on my chest and sleep like a baby. Man, that dog snored. The days since he passed have been rough as any of you who have lost a treasured pet can attest to. His ashes will be returned to me Wednesday of this week so I'll still have him around but I still miss him.

My daughter dropped her Windows phone Monday outside a restaurant after we had lunch and the its screen shattered. So, after work, she bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 to replace it along with another S5 for her hubby. Monday evening she filmed a video of her daughter (she's a spitting image of my daughter) and sent it to me. Well, the video quality sucked. It was compressed and raggedy. It was worse then videos sent to me when she used an iPhone. I reached the conclusion if I want quality videos of my granddaughter, I need to be using the same platform the video was created on. It pained me tremendously  to walk into that store yesterday and buy the white LG G3 freaking Android phone. I swore for years that I would never use Android but seeing vids of Alayna means more to me than my hated of Google. Anyway, the hardware aspect of the phone is sweet but I still hate Android. I really miss the Nokia 1520's Live Tiles. I'll keep my beloved 1520 for a backup phone but I miss using it already. i ordered a couple Spigen cases for the G3 today so I guess I'm pretty much married to the reality of using Android now. GRRRRRRR! Great phone, terrible OS.

BTW, the soon to be released Samsung Note Edge is a kick ass phone.

okay, kiddos, here's the deal......whenever i attempt to run CFX on W8.1 when using the metro start screen, the cursor vanishes. i know some people have said to use a workaround, which i can't remember at present, but i don't want to use a workaround. i've installed and uninstalled CFX numerous times to attempt to remedy the issue with no success. i've even formatted and reinstalled winders 8.1 again and the issue reappeared. any advice not including a workaround, uninstalling cfx and reinstalling it, or formatting the rig again, and pertains to the issue at hand would be greatly appreciated.

I've read articles listing changes to the OS included in the next major update to Windows 8 and it seems at least one change mimics a feature of ModernMix, namely pinning Modern (Metro) apps on the desktop taskbar. Once this major update is released next month, will ModernMix and the update work together nicely or will ModernMix need to be uninstalled?

A true legend in American drag racing has passed away. If you followed drag racing anytime from the 60's to today, you're aware of Da Grump. Without the likes of Grump, Sox & Martin, Dick Landy, Dyno Don, Butch Leal, Don Carlton, Bob Glidden, Gapp & Roush, Wally Booth and others, Pro Stock wouldn't be what it is today.

Here we go again, folks. Any help you may provide will be greatly appreciated. As I stated in another thread, I installed a larger capacity SSD over the weekend and instead of cloning the 120 over to the new one, i did a fresh install of Windows 7 and all my apps. I'm having a problem with WB that I was having with it before and it's quite aggravating. On a cold boot or a restart, DWM is disabled.....every time! I can either use Tweak 7 or open WB Config and hit the "APPLY" button to enable DWM and all is well. With DWM disabled, all transparency in the WB skins is gone and Neil's Winter Snow dream fails to load. Once DWM is enabled, transparency returns and the snow starts falling on Vlad's NOEL Christmas tree. The following info from the "About WB' area may be relevant:

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 7.3 (build 310 - Windows 7 Edition) - 64 bit OS

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
(LG L246WP(Digital)) 1 is attached to AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series

Wblind.dll 2011/10/17 11:18:20
Wblind64.dll 2011/10/17 11:18:48
Wbsrv.dll 2011/09/26 15:10:56
SevenConfig.exe 2011/10/13 17:33:52
Wbload.exe 2010/10/20 16:08:35
Wbhelp.dll 2011/10/04 10:01:37
Tray.dll 2009/10/23 20:12:19
Wbload.dll 2010/06/07 15:59:25
Screen.exe 2010/06/07 15:59:43

I'm using the latest Cat drivers from AMD/ATI for the twin 6850s.

Yes, I know I can continue to easily enable DWM every time I boot into Windows but I shouldn't have to. I thought a fresh install of the OS, drivers, and apps would eliminate this issue but it didn't. HHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPPP !!!!!!

I finally got around to installing a larger SSD this morning and instead of cloning the old 120 to the new one, i elected to do a fresh install of Winders and all my apps. Well, it seems most things installed just fine but when it comes to installing and using my premium skins form the Stardock Store, i get an INVALID PRODUCT error when entering my email addy and the 'serial number' to activate the skin. This applies to Windowblinds skins, since I have yet to get to the Dreams and IP themes.

Also, i really detest not being able to have my WB skins on a secondary platter drive instead of the SSD. There's no excuse for the end user to not be able to store the skins where he/she wants to. The same goes for Cursor FX themes.

Anyway, any help regarding the INVALID PRODUCT errors will be greatly appreciated.
